BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana defeated the visiting Bellarmine University men's tennis team 5-0 on Friday.
Sophomore
Vineet Ramesh engaged in a tiebreaker at No. 3 singles for Bellarmine (1-5) while junior
Jack Batchelor and freshman
Louie Fletcher were embroiled in tight matches at Nos. 1 and 5, respectively, before they went unfinished.
Indiana improved to 4-2 after securing the doubles point following wins at Nos. 1 and 2 and then claiming the Nos. 2,3,4 and 6 singles contests.
Bellarmine will play another team from the Big Ten on Sunday, as the Knights will travel to Michigan State for a 3 p.m. (ET) contest.
