DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bellarmine cheer team will compete at the 2024 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals this Thursday through Saturday.
The Knights' initial performance in the preliminary D1 Intermediate All Girl Division is slated for 1:04 p.m. ET on Thursday.
This year's team consists of 10 cheerleaders: seniors
Hollan Bates,
Meridith Bradford and
Lizzie Hubbard; sophomores
Britney Eisenback,
Jessica Heberlein,
Veronica Miller Lanie Scharlow and
Isabella Slayton; and freshmen
Matalyn Minick and
Torri Troutman. They are led by head coach
Charli Webb in her fourth year.
This will be the Knights' ninth consecutive season attending the College Nationals and they are striving for their second national title, having won at the event in 2019. There are 23 teams in their division.
