Men's tennis drops contest to Owls

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Kennesaw State in Atlantic Sun Conference play Sunday at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

Bellarmine (7-12, 2-5 ASUN) got a 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory from sophomore Vineet Ramesh over Hugo Salmeron at No. 4 singles. Freshman Louie Fletcher and sophomore Eli Wood bested Joel Gibson and Anthony Weingarten 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.

Bellarmine honored Kyle Tang on Senior Day.

Kennesaw State improved to 12-5 overall and 5-2 in ASUN action.

Bellarmine will play an ASUN match Friday at Lipscomb.
