LINCOLN, Ne. – Senior Jack Batchelor and junior Matthew Nice earned a doubles win, but Nebraska defeated the Bellarmine men's tennis team 7-0 in the Knights' spring opener Saturday at Dillon Tennis Center.
 
In singles play, Nebraska swept the board, winning all six matches in straight sets. Batchelor and Nice earned the lone Bellarmine win in the first doubles match of the evening, defeating Anton Shepp and Henry Bilicic 7-6 (6-5).
 
Bellarmine will conclude its opening weekend tomorrow, Sunday, January 19^th, with a match against University of Nebraska-Omaha at the Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln, NE.
