LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine University wrestling head coach Ned Shuck has today announced the team's 2025-26 schedule.

After a landmark 2024-25 campaign that ended with an individual SoCon Champion and two wrestlers going to the NCAA National Championships in Philadelphia in its first postseason eligible season, the Knights will look to continue their breakthrough into the Division I ranks with a competitive schedule this season.

"I'm really excited to continue to level up our schedule again this year. We have some exciting non-conference events at home and away this year. There will be no shortages of challenges for our guys," said Shuck. "They love that, and I love that! Can't wait to get all the fans out for our 6 home duals and our intrasquad match this year. Let's pack Knights Hall!"

This year, Bellarmine will embark on a 20-event campaign that features five tournaments and 15 duals, including an eight bout Southern Conference slate.

The Knights open their season with two tournaments that have become staples on the schedule under Shuck as they head to the Patriot Open on November 1 and the Clarion Open on November 2.

Bellarmine will then hit the road for their first dual, traveling to Iowa City, IA for a bout with the Iowa Hawkeyes on November 6. After a couple weeks of a training, BU will host its first home dual in Knights Hall, welcoming Northern Illinois on November 21.

Moving into December, Bellarmine will travel for another big-time dual opponent, heading to Columbus, OH for a match with Ohio State on December 3 before returning home to host Central Michigan on December 7.

On December 11, the Knights close out the 2025 portion of their schedule and participate in the first of two tri-duals of the year, making the trip to Kent, OH to face off against Kent State and Edinboro University.

Bellarmine opens 2026 with three straight tournaments, beginning the year with the Southern Scuffle and Soldier Salute January 3-4. The next week, BU will close out its tournament schedule with a trip to the David H. Lehman Franklin & Marshall Open on January 9.

The Knights open Southern Conference play on January 18 as they host Presbyterian College in a tri-dual with Sacred Heart University. From there, Bellarmine will hit the road for three straight conference duals, first traveling to Richmond, VA to take on VMI at Benedictine College Prepatory High School on January 23 before heading to Davidson on January 30 and Appalachian State on February 1.

Bellarmine will then come home for two SoCon duals, hosting Campbell on February 6 and Gardner-Webb on February 8. In their final regular season weekend, the Knights will make one final road trip to face off against The Citadel on February 15 before ending the season with a home dual against Chattanooga on February 22.

The Southern Conference Championships is scheduled to take place March 6-7 in Asheville, NC.
