Sierra Oesterling delivered all-time top 50 performances as Bellarmine University competed Saturday morning in the Gold Races in the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
For the second consecutive race, Hooten clocked a Bellarmine men's all-time top 10 mark in the 8k. His 24:14.0 ranks seventh all-time and moved him up to fourth on the 8k performance list. Hooten, who is now responsible for five top 50 times in the 8k, including four in the top 25, placed 23rd among 326 harriers.
Oesterling finished the women's race in 18:18.9, which ranks 36th in the 5k in program history. It represented the seventh time in her career that she's posted a top 50 mark in the 5k. Oesterling placed 98th among 305 competitors.

Middle Tennessee State (60) was the Gold Race's men's team champion, and West Virginia (34) was the Gold Race's women's team champion.
Bellarmine's final regular-season meet will take place Oct. 17 at the Angel Mounds Invitational in Evansville, Indiana.
