LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine women's tennis team will conclude its fall tournament schedule this weekend with a trip to Chattanooga, TN for the UT Chattanooga Hidden Dual Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9.
Bellarmine will join Chattanooga in a field with Jacksonville State and St. Thomas.
The event will be hidden dual format between each team with an additional flighted doubles category. All matches will be played at the UTC Tennis Center, weather permitting, and will kick off at 9:30 am Friday morning.
In their last time out at the Hoosier Classic, the Knights turned in an impressive performance with two flight wins and 14 total victories on the weekend. Junior
Nikola Kollaritsch led the effort with a perfect 3-0 singles record to claim first place in the sixth singles flight. Fellow junior
Marika Caruk and Claudia Fusté Fernández joined her in the winner's circle after running the table in the third doubles flight, going 3-0 for a first-place finish.
Overall, Kollaritsch turned in the best record of any Knight, going 5-1. Sophomore
Reese Parker was right behind her, going 4-2 on the weekend. Fusté Fernández also went 4-2 while senior
Vendula Kryslova and and Caruk went an even .500 with 3-3 records as no Knights finished with a losing record in the event.
