LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine men's tennis closed its weekend with a "road" match at the University of Louisville on Sunday night, falling 7-0 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
With the loss, the Knights move to 4-9 on the season.
Louisville started the match with two doubles wins on courts one and two to secure the point.
The Cardinals carried their momentum into singles, winning all six matches to secure the match 7-0.
Senior
Jack Batchelor forced a third set at No. 1 singles, rallying for a 6-3 set two victory but ultimately fell 10-3 in the third set. Junior
Eli Wood also forced a third set and nearly pulled out the win but was outlasted 10-7 in the third set.
Up next, Bellarmine will stay at home, hosting Queens in an ASUN match at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex on Friday, March 28.
