Alexandra Pierce and junior
Caleb Howard were named to their respective Academic All-ASUN Teams for swimming and diving, the conference today announced.
Pierce is an exercise science major. Howard is majoring in biology while Thomas is majoring in data science with Nguyen attaining his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Pierce set a new school record in the 200 IM and 200 breaststroke while also helping set a record in the 200 freestyle relay at the ASUN Championships. She placed 6
th in the 200 breast at the conference tournament.
Nguyen also set a new school record at the ASUN Championships, topping the previous mark in the 100 breaststroke while also helping set a new record in the 400 medley relay. He finished 7
th in the 100 breast at the conference tournament.
Howard was a member of the record setting 200 medley relay team at the A3 Performance Invitational and swam in the fifth place 200 freestyle relay team at the conference tournament.
Thomas placed 7
th in the 400 IM and 11
th in the 200 breaststroke at the ASUN Championships.
