LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University men's and women's swim teams had eight total student-athletes recognized on their respective College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Seniors Johnnise Garcia (exercise science) and Alexandra Pierce (exercise science) along with juniors Lauren Diercks (criminal justice) and Lauren Peters (exercise science) were acknowledged for the women, while grad student Andrew Nguyen (physical therapy), senior Brandon Thomas (data science) and juniors Caleb Howard (biology) and Jack Proctor (business administation) were cited for the men.

According to the press release, the CSC aims to "recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom."
