LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine men's tennis began its 2025-26 campaign this past weekend, participating in the Louisville Invitational, collecting 10 wins as a group across three days of play.
Hosted by Louisville, Bellarmine and the Cardinals were joined by Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Xavier, Eastern Kentucky and Belmont.
Senior
Vineet Ramesh led the way for the Knights, registering three total wins on the weekend. In doubles action, Ramesh paired with freshman
Ryan Parkins to go 1-1. In singles Ramesh turned in a 2-1 record while also winning twice by default.
Fellow senior
Matthew Nice tallied two wins in singles play with senior
Zak Vince and freshmen
Sebastian Baumann and
Colby Berson adding one win each.
Overall, Bellarmine went 10-17 as a team; 1-3 in doubles and 9-14 in singles.
Up next, the Knights will travel to Richmond, KY for the EKU Invitational Friday, September 26 to Saturday, September 27.
