KEWADIN, Mich. – The Bellarmine women's golf team completed the season-opening event of their 2025-26 campaign Monday at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, tying for 9th out of 13 teams.

Rozlyn Rooke was the top finisher for the Knights, tying for 32nd out of 79 players. The senior showed improvement each round and capped her outing with a team best +1 finish on Monday. The 73 was her best score on a par-72 course since shooting a matching 73 in the second round of her Bellarmine debut in the fall of 2023, also at A-Ga-Ming. Her effort included the Knights' lone eagle of the event Monday on the par-5 504-yard 16th hole.

Geriann Ackermann improved her three-round total from last year's event at A-Ga-Ming by five strokes, going from 235 to 230, after averaging scores of 76.7. Her second-round 75 matched her best par-72 round from a season ago.

Fellow sophomore Raquelle Nelson tied with Ackermann in 36th place at 230 in her first time starting for the Knights. She led her team and tied for 16th in the field with eight birdies.

Sophia Terris made her collegiate debut as an individual and carded a low round of 84 (+12).

Bowling Green's Addison Kartusch took home medalist honors at -11, seven shots better than the rest of the field, helping the Falcons to the team medal at +9, as well. Host Central Michigan placed 7th.
