LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Potent offense powered West Georgia to a 106-65 win over the Bellarmine University women's basketball team Saturday in Atlantic Sun Conference play in Knights Hall.
West Georgia (8-5, 1-1 ASUN) had six players score in double figures and rarely faltered offensively, shooting 59.6 percent overall from the field and practically the same from 3-point land, where the Wolved knocked down 59.1 percent (13 of 22) of their attempts.
Sydne Tolbert notched a game-high 24 points and Jasmine Jones added 23 for West Georgia, which led 53-27 at halftime after shooting 62.1 percent over the first two periods. Asia Donald chipped in 18 points for the Wolves, who scored 21 points or more in each quarter.

Rose Jamison tallied a team-high 17 points for injury-riddled Bellarmine (2-13, 0-2) while sophomore forward
Kayce Hyman set a new career for the second straight game with 16 points. Sophomore forward
Rachel Shropshire and sophomore guard
Ava Smith contributed 11 points apiece for the Knights, with Smith also distributing a career-high six assists.
Bellarmine will play an ASUN contest at 7:30 p.m. ET (6:30 CT) Thursday at Central Arkansas.
