LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University men's tennis team will begin its 2026 spring slate this weekend, traveling to Auburn, AL on Saturday, January 10 for two matches at Auburn University.
The day will begin with match one at 11 am E.T. with match two beginning at 3 pm E.T. at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
For both the Knights and Tigers, tomorrow will not only be their first action of the spring, but their first dual of the 2025-2026 season.
In its last time out, Bellarmine competed in the Ball State Open, collecting 14 wins as a team. The duos of
Zak Vince/
Colby Berson and
Eli Wood/
Ryan Parkins were unstoppable as both went a perfect 3-0. Wood continued to lead the way for the Knights in singles play, staying undefeated with three more wins for a 6-0 weekend. Parkins was just one win behind Wood, going 5-1.
Auburn sent three players to compete at the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in November with sophomore Hamza Nasridinov earning the lone Tigers win.
