LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field competed Friday-Saturday in the University of Louisville-hosted PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
Among Knights who finished in the top half of their events, senior
Zander Hooten placed 13th in the men's 60m hurdles semifinals (8.21) and sophomore
Will Bracher was 17th in the shot put (15.48m).
Senior
Jackson Gordon participated in the 400m "A" Division and placed 10th (48.62) along with 31st in the 800m (1:54.91). Senior
Alex Hooten finished 34th (8:23.49) and sophomore
Salah Farah was 38th (8:26.66) in the 3000m while sophomore
Grant King was 37th in the 60m semifinals (7.01).
In women's action, junior
Amelia Svidal placed 14th in the triple jump (11.78). Senior
Jansen Story also placed in the top half of the 800m in 32nd (2:20.49).
Bellarmine will compete Feb. 6 in the Eastern Indoor at Norton SLC.
