Men's tennis concludes homestand with match against James Madison

2/6/2026 12:36:00 PM

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University men's tennis team will wrap up its three-match homestand this Sunday, February 8 when James Madison comes to town for a bout at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

The match is schedule to begin at 10:30 am with live stream and results available on Bellarmine's website.

Last weekend, the Knights (1-5) made their home debut in grand fashion, winning a six-hour contest against North Dakota with walk off singles win, 4-3. The following day, a shorthanded Bellarmine team fell to Eastern Kentucky 4-3 after having to forfeit a doubles and singles match.

James Madison (0-1) has had a few weeks off since its last match (Jan. 18 at Duke) due to weather postponing its match at Elon. The Dukes will make a pit stop in Richmond on Saturday, February 7 to face off against Eastern Kentucky before arriving in Louisville.

This weekend's match will mark the first ever meeting between Bellarmine and James Madison.
