LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine swimming will send its senior class out with one final home meet this weekend, hosting Evansville at Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center on Saturday, February 7 in the regular season finale.
The Knights will celebrate nine total seniors before the meet begins at 1 pm E.T., with six men and three women competing for the final time at Bellarmine. On the men's side,
Cason Henderson,
Caleb Howard,
Sam Jones,
Anthony Nasrallah,
Jack Proctor and
Drew Wolfram will be honored while
Erin Dall'Agnol,
Lauren Diercks and
Lauren Peters will be celebrated for the women.
In their last meet, the men turned in five first place finishes. Jones recorded another win in the 1000 free (9:51.98) with junior
Evan Dickson winning the 200 free (1:43.84), junior
Colin Jackson winning the 100 back (51.67), freshman
Carter Souliere winning the 200 IM (1:57.42) and freshman Joao Kirchgassner winning the 200 breaststroke (2:09.71).
Sophomore
Ava Jones led all Knights with three golds, taking first in the 50 free (25.12), the 100 free (54.55) and the 100 breaststroke (1:08.65). Fellow sophomore

Kaja Vaadal notched two wins each, touching the wall first in the 200 IM and 200 back and the 500 free and 1000 free, respectively. Three other women tallied a single win each for a grand total of 10 victories as Diercks won the 100 back (58.36), junior
Charlotte Tully won the 200 butterfly (2:13.51) and Dall'Agnol won the 200 breaststroke (2:30.48).
Evansville is also closing out its season tomorrow, getting in final preparation for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
