OWENS CROSS ROADS, Al. – The Bellarmine women's golf team turned in an impressive two days at the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate as the Knights finished sixth with three individuals in the top 25.
Senior
Rozlyn Rooke once again led the Knights, finishing 16
th with scores of 71, 76, 82. Her first round, one-under score of 71 ties her low round of the year.
Playing as an individual, sophomore
Abigayle Buchanan finished the event in 18
th after turning in rounds of 72, 77, 82. Her first round 72 marks a new career best.
Freshman
Taylor Dunkle rounded out Bellarmine's top performers with rounds of 81, 71, 82. Her second round 71 marks a new career low.
Overall, Bellarmine finished sixth in the ten-team field.
Fellow ASUN member Austin Peay won the team title with a +18 weekend.
Belmont's Sloane Biddle won the individual title after finishing as the only player in the field to come in under par after all three rounds, register a two-under, 214 across the three rounds.
