DANVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University field hockey team played their season's first road game tonight, falling 4-3 in the second overtime to in-state rival Centre College.

The Colonels (1-0) got a goal from Barbara Parks off a penalty corner in the game's 91st minute to seal the victory for the home team.

The Knights (0-2) never led in the game, which saw each team trade goals until the horn sounded the end of regulation with the score knotted at three.

Bellarmine got goals from three different players including two freshmen who scored their first career goals.  Samantha Biedron tallied the Knights' lone goal of the first half, and freshmen Natalie Perry and Christina Bowman each recorded goals in the second period.  Sophomore goalkeeper Katie Lange registered 13 saves for Bellarmine on the night.

The Knights play next at home on Tuesday, Sept 8 at 3:55 p.m., when they will take Robert Morris.
