LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Bellarmine University got two second half goals from Emily West to scratch out a 2-1 victory over Robert Morris University in collegiate field hockey this afternoon at Frazier Stadium.

Bellarmine, which evened its record to 3-3, had the ball in their possession for most of the first period but found themselves in a1-0 hole in the intermission. Robert Morris's Sam Hayden scored off a rebound for the game's lone first half goal.

In the second half West converted a goal off a nice pass from Reghann Covert to knot the score at one.  West then got the game winner with 11 and a half minutes remaining on an assist from Lauren Schmeing.

For the game the Knights outshot the Colonials 13-8 and had a 12-5 advantage in penalty corners.

Robert Morris, who is coached by former University of Louisville standout Olivia Netzler, fell to 0-3 on the year.

Bellarmine's next game will be Sept. 19 when they host Kenyon College at noon.  The Knights will come back and play at 7 p.m. that same day against Rhodes.
