OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Bellarmine University Knights volleyball squad defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-14) in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday afternoon at the Woodward Health and Recreation Center.
The Knights advanced to 6-3 (2-3 GLVC) on the season, while the Panthers fell to 3-9 (0-5 GLVC).
Sophomore
Krista Gibson paced the Knights' offense with seven kills in the match, while sophomore setter
Bailey BredenbeckCorp recorded 15 assists. BredenbeckCorp led the squad with 11 digs. Junior
Lucy Knott also contributed to the Knights' defensive efforts with six blocks.
The Knights will be back in action Friday night when they travel to Romeoville, Ill., to take on GLVC foe Lewis University at 8 p.m. ET.
