LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Bellarmine University men's soccer team will take their show on the road this weekend, traveling to Wisconsin-Parkside and Lewis for a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference road games.

Currently sitting in fifth place in the GLVC, Bellarmine (4-2-1, 3-1-1 GLVC) will look to climb the rankings in a key weekend for the conference standings.

Senior Robert Bowling leads the team with four goals while adding an assist, scoring two goals in Friday's 3-0 victory over St. Joseph's. Connor Brehm and Dan Schiavi follow Bowling in the scoring column with six points apiece to drive BU's high powered offense.

Meanwhile, Bellarmine's defense has been stout so far in 2012, giving up just five goals through seven contests, after giving up nine goals in the same span in 2011. The defense, led by the backline of Austin Chitwood, Cole Page, Brandon Shuck, and Matt Odem sports a 0.69 goals allowed, tied for third best in the conference.

Behind the backline goalkeepers Blake Hunter and Austin Saini have split time in goal. Saini has yet to allow a goal in 150 minutes of action while Hunter boasts a 0.90 goals against average, stopping 77.3% of the shots he has faced.

The Rangers of Wisconsin-Parkside (3-4-1, 2-4 GLVC) will look to carry the momentum from last Sunday's 6-1 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan into Friday's matchup. Jorge Ontiveros leads his team with nine points on four goals and an assist.

Lewis (3-5, 3-3 GLVC) should be battle tested coming into the weekend after going into overtime or double-overtime in their last three matches.  Included in that three game stretch was a double-overtime heartbreaker to No. 10 Rockhurst in which the Hawks scored with less than a minute remaining in the contest.

Friday's match against the Rangers starts at 1:15 p.m. at Wisconsin-Parkside's Wood Road Field.
