LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Bellarmine University men's soccer team will head to Missouri this weekend for a pair of contests against GLVC foe. The Knights will take the field against Missouri S&T on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. CDT (8:30 p.m. EDT) and then head to Springfield, Mo. on Sunday, Sept. 29 for a 2:30 p.m. CDT (3:30 p.m. EDT) game against #7 Drury.

Bellarmine (4-1-1, 2-1-1 GLVC) is currently riding a three game unbeaten streak with wins against Kentucky Wesleyan and William Jewell, and a tie with then #10 Rockhurst.

As a team, Bellarmine ranks third in goals (15) and fourth in assists (11) in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Senior defender Matt Odem leads the GLVC with five goals on the season. Junior midfielder Dan Schiavi is tied for first in the league with 11 points on his four goals and three assists this year.

Missouri S&T (4-2, 3-1 GLVC) has won three games in a row entering Friday's game after losing two contests early in the season. The Miners topped William Jewell, Southern Indiana and Illinois Springfield last week.

Missouri S&T senior goalkeeper Matt Jackson's seven saves per game puts him at the top of the GLVC. As a team, the Miners also lead the league in the same category.

The Knights tied the miners 0-0 last year.

Seventh-ranked Drury (6-1, 3-1 GLVC) has won three consecutive contests after losing their only home game of the season to #16 Rockhurst.

Drury has allowed the fewest goals of any GLVC team, with three in their seven games. The Panthers are second in goals, second in assists and have posted more shutouts (4) than any other conference team.

Junior forward Brett Steere is tied for first in the conference in points with 11 on his five goals and one assist. His goal mark is also tied for best in the GLVC with BU's Odem.

Bellarmine and Drury tied 1-1 last season.
