Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa.-The Bellarmine University field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to the host Bloomsburg Huskies on Saturday in a non-conference Division II contest.

The teams combined to make 18 saves with only Bloomburg's Felicia Domenici and Nikki Gattone able to find the back of the cage.

Bellarmine goalkeeper Lara Williams thwarted nine Bloomsburg shots and Hannah Doll came up with a defensive save to give her five for the year. For the Huskies, Lindsay Cassel made eight stops in goal.

Statistically the game was fairly even with Bloomsburg holding a 14-8 shot advantage and a slight edge in penalty corners 12-11.

Bellarmine slips to 6-5 on the season while Bloomsburg improves to 4-7.

The Knights return to action at 1 p.m. on Sunday with a matchup against the No. 1 team in the country-the Millersville Marauders.
