Box Score ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — For the second straight game, the Bellarmine University men's soccer team fell in the waning minutes, as Lewis scored with overtime looming of a 1-0 victory over the visiting Knights on Sunday in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

Krystian Nowak scored in the 89th minute to lead the Flyers (6-2-2, 5-1-2 GLVC) past the Knights (4-6-1, 2-5-1), who lost to Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday after yielding a goal inside the final minute of regulation.

The same thing essentially reoccurred against Lewis. After the teams failed to find the net for almost the entirety of regulation, Nowak converted off an assist from Lenin Roa-Tapia with 1:16 left in the game. Nowak blasted a shot from the 18-yard line inside the left post.

The Knights nearly scored late, but freshman midfielder Trevor Thompson's shot missed off the crossbar in the 85th minute.

Bellarmine took nine shots, with one coming on goal. Lewis totaled 21 shots, with nine coming on frame.

Sophomore keeper Tommy Hebert recorded eight saves for Bellarmine.

Bellarmine hosts Drury on Friday and Missouri S&T on Sunday. The Missouri S&T game is designated as Senior Day.
