LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team fell 1-5 to Judson on Sunday at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
Senior
Matt Momper and freshman
Sam Rueff claimed an 8-4 victory at No. 2 singles for Bellarmine (1-1).
Once Judson (5-3) clinched the team win, the teams agreed to stop the other matches in progress.
"It was a tough first loss since we didn't have our full roster due to illness and other issues, but all the guys fought extremely hard," Bellarmine Coach
Tyler Worley said. "Judson was a very solid team."
Bellarmine hosts Indiana University Southeast next Sunday.
