LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's track and field team captured the team title at the Kentucky Collegiate Indoor on Saturday at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
Bellarmine amassed 104 points in the 19-team meet.
Senior
Ally Kluender provided a big highlight after shattering the indoor program record for the weight throw. Her toss of 16.67 meters topped the previous mark of 15.91 set by Courtney McIntyre at the 2014 GLVC Championships.
Sophomore
Raegan Franklin captured first in the pole vault (3.36). Senior
Lauren Masden was the runner-up in the mile, sophomore
Emma Wells placed third and sophomore
Ellie Schroeder took fourth. Schroeder added a fifth in the 800.
Sophomore
Katrina Kamarute was the runner-up in the 200 while freshman
Taylor Boggess placed fourth and junior
Talia Robinson took fifth. Senior
Emily Wiegel finished third in the 400 and freshman
Avery Hedden was fifth.
Sophomore
Anna Wells placed fourth in the 3000 and senior
Morgan Kannapel was fifth.
Bellarmine's men competed with a drastically reduced squad. The 4x400 relay team of junior

Ryan Hawkins placed first.
Junior
Will Esenbock placed fourth in the weight throw, while Hawkins was fifth in the 400.
Bellarmine will compete Friday and Saturday in its first ASUN Championships.
