Box Score NORMAL, Ill. — Illinois State defeated the Bellarmine University men's tennis team 5-2 on Sunday at Bloomington Tennis & Turf.

Bellarmine (3-8) earned the doubles point against Illinois State (4-9). Freshman Paul Reynolds and senior Ian Deiters defeated Diego Le Gal Perez and Zacharias Rankloo Rasmusson at No. 2, and freshmen Eli Franks and Emil B. Berglund topped Brandon Lew and Diego Emilio Moura Herrera 7-6 at No. 3.

Reynolds captured Bellarmine's lone singles win, defeating Melker Isaksson 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

Bellarmine will play Friday at Dayton.
