LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Bellarmine University track and field teams competed Friday and Saturday in the Jim Green Invitational at the University of Kentucky's Nutter Fieldhouse.
Junior
Katrina Kamarute placed fifth in the women's 400 and finished in the top half of the field in the 200 with a 15th. Freshman
Chloe Freilinger placed 11th in the 400, and senior
Lauren Masden finished in the top half of the participants in the 3000 in 18th.
Adhering to health and safety protocols, Bellarmine's men competed with a drastically reduced squad. Freshman
Trevor Holbrook placed 11th out of 21 in the 200.
On Friday, the Knights will host the Bellarmine Open "Presented by Urban Shipper" at the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center.
