LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's soccer team will conclude the regular season with a 1 p.m. (ET) ASUN contest Saturday at North Florida.

Bellarmine (1-7-8, 1-4-4 ASUN) and North Florida (4-6-4, 3-3-3) have met once in the Division-I era, as the Ospreys captured a 2-0 victory last season in Owsley B. Frazier Stadium. The contest was scoreless at halftime, but UNF scored in the 61st and 85th minutes in the second half.

The ASUN Tournament is comprised of eight teams, and six have already secured bids. North Florida is in seventh place in the league with 12 points. Stetson is in eighth with 10. The Ospreys will not only be looking to lock up a spot in the tournament, there could also be an opportunity to improve seeding.

Conference wins are worth three points and draws are worth one. While Bellarmine is 12th with seven points, it appears the Knights could conceivably enter into a tiebreaking scenario for the 8-seed, although they would need to beat North Florida and have several other results go their way.

North Florida is in the midst of three straight draws. The latter two in particular could be considered very productive results, as the Ospreys played to scoreless stalemates against ASUN leader Liberty and Kennesaw State, both of whom have clinched berths in the conference tournament.

Allie Fekany is pacing North Florida with four goals. The Ospreys' defense has posted four straight shutouts and five clean sheets over their last six conference games.

Bellarmine will look to finish the regular season strong coming off three straight losses. The Knights will need a resilient effort after dealing with some tough-to-swallow circumstances of late. They had a would-be game-tying goal inside the last 10 seconds against Jacksonville State waved off due to a controversial offsides call and followed with what replay seemed to confirm was a second-half goal against Kennesaw State that wasn't awarded to them in an eventual 2-1 loss.

Bellarmine's defense has remained stout and enters the weekend in ASUN play ranked second in the league in goals-against average (0.94) and fourth in shutouts (seven).
