LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine softball has announced information for its prospect camp held at Knights Field this summer.
 
The camp will be held on August 27^th on the campus of Bellarmine University.  Open to grades 9-12, the camp runs from 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. and costs $175 per camper.
 
Description:
The prospect camp is for players focused on becoming college softball student athletes. It will feature games, a pro-style workout with radar gun evaluations, 60-yard dash, and instruction from active Bellarmine players and coaches. The camp is open to all high school grades (9-12) and limited to 60 players on a first-come-first-serve basis. The camp will remain in compliance with all NCAA rules.

Recruiting Seminar:
Intended for both players and families, the seminar will be held toward the end of lunch. It will run approximately 45 minutes and cover topics including NCAA rules, how to promote yourself, what coaches look for, the best way to make a video, and what to expect when playing college softball. The seminar will end with a Q&A session for players and family alike to ask specific questions.

Camp Agenda:
7:30 a.m.: Check-in Begins
8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Stretch / Testing / Skill Instruction (Defensive and Offensive)
11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m.: Lunch / Recruiting Seminar **Lunch is NOT provided**
1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.: Games and Evaluation / Hitting Instruction (Teams 1 and 2 will play while the others receive instruction, then they will flip flop)
4:00 p.m.: Final Comments and Camp Dismissal

• Rain date is August 28th (following day)
• The camp format is subject to change due to weather, field conditions, safety, or other reasons deemed necessary to run a safe and efficient camp
