LOUISVILLE, Ky.—On the heels of a runner-up finish last week at the Grover Page Classic in Jackson, Tennessee, the Bellarmine men's golf team is back in action Monday and Tuesday at the J.T. Poston Invitational, hosted by Western Carolina at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley.
Jensen Klondike again will headline the Bellarmine fivesome. The Louisville senior has a stroke average of just under 72 after breaking par in all three rounds last week.
Lining up in the No. 2 spot will be freshman
Luke Bischoff, who has broken 70 in two of his six collegiate rounds and is averaging exactly 72.
Kannon Tucker and
Ballard Harris, averaging 73.17 and 73.33 respectively, will stay in the top five with
Brooks Korfhage getting the nod at the No. 5 spot. The Louisville lefthander competed in the Knights' opening tourney at Marshall and averaged 76 over 54 holes.
The J.T. Poston Invitational, named in honor of the former Western Carolina standout and current PGA touring pro, is a 54-hole event. The 17-team field will play the first two rounds played on Monday with final 18 holes on Tuesday.
