Box Score YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team accumulated 12 singles wins and six doubles victory Saturday and Sunday in the YSU Invitational.
In addition to Bellarmine and host Youngstown State, other participants included Eastern Kentucky, Duquesne, Cleveland State and Xavier.
Sophomore
Vineet Ramesh went 3-0 in singles play, defeating opponents from Youngstown State, Cleveland State and Eastern Kentucky, the latter in a 5-7, 7-5, 10-8 thriller. Ramesh is 6-0 in singles action this season.
Junior
Jack Batchelor also went 3-0 in singles play, running the table against two opponents from Xavier and another from Youngstown State, all in straight sets.

Eli Wood collected two singles wins apiece while sophomore
Matthew Nice and freshman
Wynn Shioi notched one each.
Ramesh and Shioi went 3-0 in doubles together, taking down teams from Duquesne, Xavier and Eastern Kentucky.
Batchelor and Nice registered a pair of doubles victories after defeating squads from Youngstown State and Cleveland State. Wood and Ecarma secured a doubles win against a team from Duquesne.
Bellarmine will compete Oct. 12-16 in the Fall ITA Regionals in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
