KENNESAW, Ga. – Luke Bischoff carded a pair of plus-2 74s this week en route to a 13th-place finish in a field of 60 golfers Tuesday at the Pinetree Intercollegiate. The event was held at Pinetree Country Club.
A junior, Bischoff finished at plus-8 for the tournament. His effort comes less than a week after he finished tied for 69th in a field of 83 at the Cullan Brown Collegiate in Lexington. The highlight of the tournament for the Knights was an eagle by Bischoff on the par-5, 505-yard fifth hole in Monday's second round.
Kash Albarado was the only other Knight to card a trio of rounds in the 70s, doing so with a pair of 79s and finishing with a plus-3 75 on Tuesday. He tied for 31st at plus-17 and has yet to shoot a round in the 80s this season.
Graydon Laughlin finished tied for 34th in his second collegiate tournament. He shot a plus-3 75 in the first round, his best round as a Knight thus far.
Hudson Hummel improved each round, carding an 84, a 78 and a 74 in his first event of the year. The 74 tied Bischoff for the Knights' lowest round of the event.
Ballard Harris, Bellarmine's top finisher in the first two tournaments, carded a trio of 80s to finish tied for 49th at plus-24.
As a team, the Knights finished with a plus-12 300 on Tuesday for their best round of the event. Bellarmine finished seventh in the 10-team field. Host Kennesaw State won the event at plus-6, 30 shots better than Georgia State and first-year ASUN foe West Georgia, who tied for second.
