OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. – The Bellarmine women's golf team carded a 301 in the final round of play Sunday at The Robbie, good for the team's second-best round of the season.
The event, the Knights' final tournament of the fall, was held on the Highlands course at the RTJ Golf Trail at Hampton Cove, where Bellarmine will play their next event in March, as well as the ASUN Championship in April.
Contributors in the final round on Sunday were
Rozlyn Rooke (plus-2),
Matti Spalding (plus-2),
Geriann Ackermann (plus-3) and
Presli Webb (plus-6).
Webb's overall finish at plus-11 marked her second-best performance of the fall season. She wrapped up play at the Butler Fall Invitational at plus-10 back on October 1. She holed seven birdies at The Robbie, tied for the 12
th-most in the field.
The Knights' plus-13 301 resulted in the fourth-best round in the six-team tournament. Louisville, who took home the team medal, finished their rounds at plus-5, minus-2 and plus-4. The Cardinals finished at plus-7, 38 strokes better than host Lipscomb in second. Despite the strong finish, Bellarmine placed sixth in the six-team event.
Louisville's Thienna Huynh and Vanderbilt's Angelina Tolentino shared medalist honors at plus-1.

Bellarmine returns to Hampton Cove on March 3 for their first event of the spring season. The tournament will be hosted by Samford University.
