LEXINGTON, Ky. –
Ballard Harris made a strong showing once again in his second event of the 2024-25 season after missing all of last season. The redshirt senior entered the clubhouse in a three-way tie for 10
th at the University of Kentucky's Cullan Brown Collegiate Tuesday afternoon at Lexington Country Club.
The Trinity product finished at plus-9, four strokes back of the leaders, after carding rounds of 74, 75 and 73. He finished the event with seven birdies and has yet to shoot over a 75 in any of his six rounds this season.
In his collegiate debut,
Graydon Laughlin fired a low round of 76 and finished tied for 57
th at plus-21.
Kash Albarado carded three 79s to finish at plus-24 at tied for 67
th.
The Knights finished 14 out of 15 teams at the event. Former ASUN foe Kennesaw State, who will host Bellarmine's next competition, earned the team medal at plus-29, 14 shots better than current ASUN member North Alabama. A third ASUN team, Eastern Kentucky, finished eighth while the host Wildcats, who entered two teams, finished third and tied for sixth.
Kennesaw's Claes Borregaard and North Alabama's Andrew Ferworn took home co-medalist honors at plus-5.

The Knights have a quick turnaround as they head to Kennesaw, Ga., on Monday and Tuesday for the Pinetree Intercollegiate at Pinetree Country Club for their final event of the fall schedule.
