LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nine members of Bellarmine University soccer were honored on the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District teams.

Seniors Jack Fischer, Peter Van Euwen and Austin Yowell, junior Jackson Marks, sophomore Calle Sjoberg and redshirt freshman Colin Elder were recognized for the men, while senior Cambria Kingman, junior Sidney Rigsby and sophomore Teagan Douglas were acknowledged for the women.

In its press release, the CSC noted the Academic All-District awards "recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom." A minimum 3.5 GPA along with on-field factors such as minimum amounts of starts and/or participation are components in the qualification process.
