KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Bellarmine University women's swimming team earned 49 points and the men 44 on the second of the four-day ASUN Championship on Thursday at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
Bellarmine's men had two swimmers score in the 400 individual medley. Junior
Brandon Thomas placed 10th (7 pts) and sophomore
Cason Henderson finished 15th (2 pts). Junior
John Paul Metzner earned nine points with a ninth-place finish in the 100 butterfly.
Freshman
Charlotte Tully tallied a point after placing 16th in the women's 400 individual medley.
Bellarmine's women placed seventh in the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 medley relay, garnering 24 points in both. The former was comprised of seniors
Liz Stevenson,
Grace Lough,
Megan Wills and
Emily Kuprion, while the latter was formed of Tully, junior
Alexandra Pierce, freshman
Lily Wolfe and Stevenson.
Bellarmine's men placed sixth and amassed 26 points in the 200 freestyle relay, with the team comprised of freshman
Colin Jackson, freshman
Reece Pennington, sophomore
Caleb Howard and Metzner.
