LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine sprint football running back
Brenden Reid has been named a Midwest Sprint Football League co-Offensive Player of the Week, the league has announced.
The award comes on the heels of the senior's 200-yard, two-touchdown Senior Day performance Saturday, helping the Knights to a 45-7 win over Oakland City. The effort marked Reid's third career 200-rushing-yard game and seventh career game with multiple scores (rushing and receiving combined).
Reid joins fellow senior
Gavin Brazzell as Knights to earn MSFL weekly honors this season. Brazzell took home Defensive Player of the Week honors following the Knights' previous game at Quincy, a 9-7 win.
Reid shared the award this week with Midway quarterback Christian Carter.
