INDIANAPOLIS, In. – The Bellarmine University men's and women's swim teams competed in the IU Indy Double Dual this past weekend to open the 2025-26 season.
The Knights competed against Xavier, St. Louis, IU Indy, Bowling Green and Butler in the event.
Freshman
Ahmet Efe Inceoglu led the way for Bellarmine in his first collegiate event, collecting two golds in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Inceoglu also turned in a 7
th place finish in the 50 butterfly.
Junior
Evan Dickson registered a second-place finish in the in the 200 freestyle, marking the second-best result of the meet for Bellarmine. Dickson also placed 6
th in the 500 freestyle and 7
th in the 100 freestyle.
Freshman
Yael Bojalil and junior
Colin Jackson each earned a bronze medal with Bojalil taking third in the 200 freestyle and Jackson in the 50 backstroke. Jackson also finished 7
th in the 100 backstroke.
For the women, senior
Erin Dall'Agnol, junior
Lily Wolfe and sophomore
Lily Epley all tied for a team-best finish of seventh-place in their respective events. Dall'Agnol competed in the 100 breaststroke while Wolfe did so in the 1000 freestyle and Epley in the 50 freestyle.
Freshman
Kaja Vaadal placed eighth in the 1000 freestyle in her collegiate debut. Sophomore
Annie Leibold also contributed with a ninth-place run in the 100 butterfly.
Up next, Bellarmine will host University of Southern Indiana for a dual at home at the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center on November 1.
