LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University sprint football team's
Gavin Brazzell on Wednesday was named MSFL Defensive Player of the Week.
Brazzell anchored Bellarmine's defense in a 9-7 road win at Quincy, recording eight total tackles (three solo, five assisted) and an interception.
The senior defensive back's biggest play came in the closing moments, when he forced a game-sealing fumble to preserve the victory, the Knights' second in conference play of the season.
