WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Bellarmine sprint football team faces undefeated Saint Mary-of-the-Woods once again this Saturday in the MSFL semifinals. Kickoff from Jay Barret Field is set for 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT).

The Knights (3-4) concluded their regular season with a 35-7 loss to SMWC (6-0) last Saturday.

Bellarmine's only touchdown would come in the second quarter.
Dylan Morris hit
Brenden Reid for a 42-yard gain on 3rd-and-15to reach the Pomeroys' 5-yard line. Reid ran it in two plays later.

Jeremiah Tosky finished with 177 passing yards and two touchdowns for the Pomeroys. Reid finished with 84 rushing yards for the Knights to lead all rushers.

The Knights fell to 1-3 all-time against SMWC and now must face the Pomeroys on their home turf once again to keep their season alive. This will be the first time Bellarmine has ever played the same opponent in back-to-back games..

SMWC's offense finished the season averaging 241.8 passing yards and 158.3 rushing yards per game, second and third in the MSFL, respectively. On the other side of the ball for SMWC, Adonimi Parker led the MSFL with 6.0 sacks to lead a SMWC defense that ranked third in the MSFL in surrendering both 19.3 points and 297.7 total yards per game. The Pomeroys won their six games by an average of 26.2 points. Only Midway, who fell in their second matchup with SMWC by a 27-20 final was able to keep the game within two scores.

The winner between Bellarmine and SWMC will face the winner of Calumet (6-0) and Midway (5-2) in the MSFL Championship on November 15.
