LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field will open its outdoor season this weekend, as the Knights will have athletes competing in the Eastern Kentucky Invite and the Ole Miss Classic.

The former meet is slated for Friday, while the latter is set for Friday and Saturday. These are the first two of 11 scheduled regular-season outdoor meets in which Bellarmine plans to participate, with Knights heading multiple directions some weeks.

Bellarmine will host the annual Jim Vargo Invitational on April 4-5. The ASUN Outdoor Championship will unfold in mid-May and the end of May will bring the NCAA East Regional, of which the Knights are eligible for the first time at the D1 level.

Bellarmine's 2025 ASUN Indoor Championship appearance was highlighted by junior Jackson Gordon's silver medal-winning performance in the men's 400 meters.

Men's senior Nolan Hester and junior Chase Atkins and women's junior Jansen Story were selected to the Academic All-ASUN Teams for the indoor season.
