OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. – The Bellarmine women's golf team was back on the links this week for their first event of the spring at a familiar site—the Highlands Course at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove.

The course this week played host to the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate and also hosted the Knights' final event of the fall, Lipscomb's The Robbie. In April, this course will host the ASUN Women's Golf Championship for the third straight year.

The Knights placed 10th out of 12 teams in the field at plus-98, finishing play Tuesday with their best round that included three of four scores in the 70s. Troy took home the team medal at plus-43, six shots better than Knights ASUN foe North Alabama and 15 shots better than host Samford.

Rozlyn Rooke and Lauren Stewart tied for Bellarmine's best individual finishing position at 23rd, each registering five birdies over the two-day, three-round event. The pair also tied for Bellarmine's best round at plus-4 76.

Samford's Gabi Nicastro earned medalist honors, finishing at plus-4.
