Women’s golf concludes 2024-25 season at ASUN Championship

OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. – The 2024-25 campaign for the Bellarmine women's golf team came to a close Tuesday afternoon at the Atlantic Sun Championship.

It was a tough break early on for the Knights as junior Rozlyn Rooke, one of the most consistent performers all year, withdrew due to an injury on Tuesday. She shot a plus-3 75, the second-best round by a Knight, in her only full round of action on Sunday.

Presli Webb, perhaps the most consistent Bellarmine performer, was the top finisher for the Knights, tying for 24th in the 63-player field at plus-17. The sophomore holed six birdies and in Sunday's first round, fired a plus-2 74 to match the third-lowest round by strokes by a Knight this season.

The Knights, hampered by having just four players complete the second round, placed 12th, finishing at plus-115. Florida Gulf Coast earned the conference championship and moves on to regional qualifying next month for a bid to the NCAA Championship. The Eagles were victorious in a four-hole playoff over Stetson after each finished at plus-41.

FGCU's Lousiane Gauthier earned the individual medal at even par, four shots better than the rest of the field.
