VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Bellarmine University men's golf team wrapped up their 2024-25 campaign Thursday afternoon at the ASUN Championship, held at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
The Knights placed 11
th in the field of 12 at plus-15, posting scores of 290, 302 and 287. The final-round 287 was the fifth-lowest team round this season.
Matthew Santini paced the Knights at plus-1, tying for 35
th in a field of 56. Santini posted the best round of his career and the Knights' best round of the event, a minus-4 68 on Thursday featuring five birdies. The 68 tied for the Knights' lowest round of the season.
Luke Bischoff finished one stroke behind Santini, tying for 37
th. Bischoff holed 11 birdies for the team lead during the three-round event, one more than Santini.
Central Arkansas captured the conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Regionals at minus-26, one stroke better than Stetson. The Hatters' Gaspar Glaudas, however, took home the individual conference championship at minus-11, three shots ahead of the field.
