Behind six birdies, the junior carded rounds of 70 (minus-1) and 73 (plus-2) to finish at plus-1. His first-round score tied for the Knights' fifth-lowest score by strokes this season. Overall, it was his best performance since he finished at even par in the first event of the fall schedule, the Dolenc Invitational.
Coming in right behind Albarado was

Luke Bischoff and
Matthew Santini each matched Albarado for the team's best single-round score with minus-1 70s en route to tying for 36
th at plus-5. The second-round score for Bischoff was his team-leading fifth effort at or under par while Santini, a junior, achieved the score in his first collegiate round.
Ballard Harris and
Ben Davenport, playing as an individual, rounded out the Knights' lineup, each tying for 44
th at plus-6.
As a team, the Knights led the field with four holes to play, but ultimately finished fourth in the 11-team event at plus-7. Wright State took home the team medal at plus-5, one shot better than host Northern Kentucky.
Xavier's Mason Witt earned medalist honors at minus-3.
