KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seven student-athletes from the Bellarmine University men's basketball team were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' Honor Court, the organization announced Thursday. The Knights earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, as well, for the third consecutive year.
Earning Honors Court laurels were
Landin Hacker (exercise science),
Curt Hopf (MBA),
Ben Johnson (finance),
Jack Karasinski (sports administration),
Zach Reed (business administration),
Billy Smith (psychology) and
Myles Watkins (business administration).
The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
In order to receive the Team Academic Excellence Award, a program must achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher for the previous academic year. The Knights had no trouble reaching that threshold, as 14 players earned ASUN Honor Roll accolades for the third straight season.
