LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Center Patricia Sherrill has joined the Bellarmine University women's basketball team as a graduate transfer.

The 6-foot-1 Sherrill played last season at Long Island University and logged 10.5 minutes per game while averaging 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 29 appearances. She was a member of the Northeast Conference Honor Roll.

"Patricia brings valuable experience as a graduate transfer," Bellarmine coach Monique Reid said. "She's a physical post player and brings toughness every time she steps on the court. I'm excited about the leadership she'll add to our team."

Sherrill played in 2023-24 at the University of New Orleans, seeing action in 16 games. In 2021-22, she was a member of Harford Community College and was recognized as an NJCAA honorable-mention All-American after averaging 9.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, the latter ranking in the top 15 in the nation.

"I chose Bellarmine because it's a very natural feeling in an environment that flows so well," Sherrill said.
