LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine men's tennis will continue its fall schedule this weekend, traveling to Richmond, KY for Eastern Kentucky's DI Showdown, Friday September 26 to Saturday, September 27.
The Knights will face off in a bracketed tournament for both singles in doubles play against EKU and University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
In their fall opener at the Louisville Invitational, Bellarmine collected 10 wins as a team. Senior
Vineet Ramesh led the charge for the Knights, recording three total wins with two coming in singles and one in doubles. Fellow senior
Matthew Nice tallied two wins in the opening weekend, both in singles action. Senior
Zak Vince and freshman
Sebastian Baumann turned in one win each.
This weekend's event will be the second for both EKU and Bellarmine with both competing at UofL to begin the fall. Chattanooga will be coming in its third event of the year after starting at the MTSU Four-Man Tournament and most recently competing in the ITA All-American Championships.
